I have a question in regards to website development in creating a marketing/advertising company? I am working to start a marketing/advertising company that focuses on small businesses/nonprofits/ and college student orgs in Michigan but I have very limited web coding skills. I can design and use photoshop well and my college degree is in Marketing. But the HTML and other language coding aspect is what kills me. Is it wise to focus on selling the product and creating a vision, while contracting out the coding work or should I suck it up and learn the codes for website design.

Learning HTML can be difficult. I would focus on the vision and materials for the business, but also try to take up some interest in the site. Start by purchasing your domain name and hosting. This will save you money rather than using the contractor to set these things up. I would be glad to help at a reasonable cost, and provide additional consulting to help interested clients learn to take over and manage all aspects of their business. Thanks for the great question.
